What quilting type do you enjoy most? Do you keep pictures of the quilts you make?
If not, I encourage you to start right away. They bring such joy to others and I try
to get a picture before I use one or give it away. Lots of memories in each one I have
created. What is you favorite style?
Cathedral Windows - several different techniques to make this classic design.
Rag Quilts - raw edges are easy to create a fun quilt. These seem to
work best with flannels, or Homespun fabrics
T-Shirt/Memory Quilts - transform old t-shirts of sports, schools, etc. into a quilt
of ole favorite T's. Children's clothing, old clothes, tablecloths can be used for
memory quilts.
Panels - use a stunning panel and play with coordinating or your pick to build the
panel into the size quilt for you!
Crazy quilts - use up your scraps of every kind; flannel, silk, cotton as random as
possible. Delightful to try at least once.
Art Quilt - many use a photograph or picture and cut pieces of fabric to "paint"
a piece of art.
Scrappy Quilt - Nine patches to use scraps, simple Irish Chain is a great way to test
your ability to practice "random" simple piecing.
Charm Quilt - scrap quilt, create a lovely quilt but only use each fabric ONCE!
So, what is your favorite? Pick a quilt you haven't tried and let us help you.
If you try a different quilt, send us a picture or bring in your creation to show us!
Any questions about any type of quilt, we are here to help you, I suggest you try
something different - keep that brain active.

Classes
Spot On classes July 10 & 21 at 10:00 am. with Pat Judd instructor. May choose any project with the new
spot on tool. Bring project, sewing supplies and lunch! 15% will discounted for any purchases
during the class, (does not apply for sale items). Please call, 812-358-1734 for your spot.
Want to Pipe?
Tues or Sat? Would you be excited to learn to pipe, no not as in water pipes! Linda Hallow would
instruct you on how to put pipping on pillows, quilts, pillow cases, etc.? A date will be set
shortly and would love some input on a date in July.
Sit n Sew
Join us on Mondays, Wed. & Thur. for sit n sew from 9 am - 5pm. Bring your sewing machine, projects, and sewing needs to sew and chat the day away! Do you have a project you are stuck on, bring it in, let us help you - first time to visit
is free. Other days available, just make arrangements with store owner, Barb.
